 THE WEIMARBAND / PHOTOS Martin is one of the most extraordinary musicians and most lovable people on the planet, and is destined (very soon) to become the first household name among bassoon soloists. He hails from Estonia, lives in New York, has been a soloist with orchestras around the world, performs in numerous chamber groups, and his playing can be heard on numerous recordings, including Archipelago, a unique collaboration with composer/accordionist William Schimmel and fellow-Weimarbander, percussionist David Rozenblatt.
